In Friday folders Manor Hill PTA sent home a flyer kicking off Manor Hill PTA's Annual Ask fundraiser!

This is an extremely important and exciting fundraiser since it directly helps fund our class field trips, author visits, parties, along with many other great activities for MH students! Most grades take 2 field trips. These two trips cost approximately $20 per student for bus costs and admission costs. The fundraiser helps every child attend with no cost to their parents.

Please consider participating in the MH PTA Annual Ask this fall!

We are continuing our service project for the Ronald McDonald House by collecting aluminum can tabs.  Encourage your child to become involved at home by letting them take off the tabs and collecting them in a location you set aside.  When you have a bunch, send them to school!  Just by collecting aluminum can tabs, we can help those less fortunate!  Won't you help us?

All Manor Hill students K-5 will receive a student device to work with during the school year.  Students in K-2 grade receive an iPad, and students in grades 3-5 will receive Chromebooks.  Students may begin enrolling in the One2One Risk Solutions to provide protection for their device.  Students that do not enroll their device will not be able to take their device home and may also face a higher claim if the device is damaged at school.  The One2One Risk Solutions works like any insurance.  If damage occurs parents are held responsible for a co-pay and the rest of the damage is covered by the insurance policy.  Students without One2One will pay the whole amount.  For more information see the district FAQ page.

TEN is an opportunity for elementary to high school students to have fun with technology. Students can also learn about the possibilities of technology and engineering based careers.

The event also seeks to inform parents about how these fields can be beneficial to their child for more than just a career.

Learning about technology can foster possible life skills that will help them in any field they choose.

The evening will also showcase projects by LPS students from Project Lead The Way (PLTW) and Technology Student Association (TSA)

When is TEN?

Tuesday, May 2nd 6:00pm-8:00pm Liberty North High School

1000 NE 104 Street, Liberty, MO 64068
